An independent narrative filmmaker in Texas, Brian Tran creates films that challenge and open perspectives; pondering truths and opening doors to new ways of thinking through his 8 years of honed skills in directing, cinematography, and post-production. With his time at the University of Texas for a BFA in Cinematic Arts, Brian has contributed to many of his peers’ films in multiple roles as a flexible crew member and in post-production, as well as creating many of his own films. Brian lives to tell compelling stories through the handling of the camera and lens and the meticulous processes in editing, sound design, color, and VFX.
Brian's portfolio consists of his work as a film student throughout college, as well as older works since high school as a tracker of growth. Among the films are some photography and videography work in the "Other Work" category, or within the film pages as BTS media for the respective film.
